George F. Long
Managing Partner
Having worked in the financial industry since 2001, George is dedicated to the financial well-being of individuals and business owners in San Antonio, Texas. His credentials and experience are evidence of his expertise, and his tenure demonstrates his long-term relationships with clients.
As the principal of Long Life Financial, George has helped thousands of individuals enhance the quality of their lives. His clientele, from emerging professionals to private businesses, rely on his industry experience to guide them with their financial strategies, and they trust and know his insights are well educated.
As a licensed investment professional, he holds a FINRA Series 6, Series 63 registrations and Group 1 for life insurance. He’s an accomplished financial services professional and group insurance agent. Early in his career, he earned the honor of Northwestern Mutual Rookie of the Year by outperforming experienced investment specialists.
In 2013, George was selected as a member to the exclusive groups of Blue Chip and Million Dollar Round Table. Blue Chip was a prestigious group with the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company.
George is also a member of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He cares about contributing to the San Antonio community because he was raised here, and this is where he’s built a foundation for his family and business.
His upbringing and experiences as a youth in an urban neighborhood fueled his desire to make a difference in the lives of others. If his parents had had a financial professional to help guide them on the road to building wealth, it would have made a world of a difference for George and his siblings. With that in mind, George is utilizing his Bachelors in Business Administration and his professional experience to empower individuals within the community to make good financial decisions for themselves.
Mindy Lerma
Director of Operations
Joined Long Life Financial in 2012 as an Employee Benefit Specialist and brings a wealth of experience with both large and small groups. Since 2000, Mindy has worked in the employee benefits industry and has been increasing her knowledge and experience with employee benefits ever since. Her background of working for an independent agent, a carrier and a general agent she brings experience from all aspects of group benefits.
Mindy was born and raised in Castroville, a small town outside of San Antonio. In Mindy’s spare time you will find her with her family, watching sports, reading or buffing up on her movie knowledge.
Brooke Martinez
Administrative Assistant
With a background in business management Brooke made the transition from the veterinary business industry to the financial field in 2021. Growing up within a military family she has been blessed with the opportunity to travel the world and gain an immense appreciation for every individual’s culture. This passion to celebrate everyone’s uniqueness has led her to Long Life Financial as she aims to help each client have a positive experience as they work with George and the team to accomplish their own goals and live out their best lives!
Although much of her childhood was spent overseas, Brooke was born here in San Antonio Texas and considers this her home city to this day. When Brooke is not working you can often find her spending time with loved ones, reading, cooking, practicing yoga or packing her bags as she takes off on her next travel adventure.
Jay Moyer
Customer Relationship Manager
Jay Moyer works with our existing clients by answering questions, updating their policies and portfolios, and pointing out opportunities to enhance their financial situation as their needs change. A long-term relationship with you, your family, and your business associate, is our top priority at Long Life Financial.
He joined Long Life Financial in 2024 with over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. During his career, he has represented Nationwide, New York Life, and MassMutual as an agent and field sales manager. Jay recently retired from GPM Life, where he served 12 years as Vice-President Director of Marketing. During that time, he earned the LIMRA Leadership Institute Fellow (LLIF) designation, through LIMRA and the Wharton School of Business.
Jay holds B.M. and M.A. degrees from the Ohio State University and is an avid Buckeye fan! Since moving to San Antonio in 1991, Jay and his family have served at University Methodist church for many years in the Music, Children, Youth, Congregational Care, and Lay Leadership Ministries. It is Jay's mission in life to "make a difference" for people, no matter how our paths may cross.
